4.1 Minimally invasive pancreatic surgery

Course objective: Laparoscopic techniques are increasingly being used in pancreas surgery.
The participants of this course will acquire the
necessary theoretical knowledge for the indication for laparoscopic pancreatic surgery, including up-to-date imaging of the pancreas. The practical part provides the opportunity to participate in an
open, laparoscopic pancreatic resection.
Target group: Advanced hepatobiliary surgeons.
This course can be adapted to individual needs of hospitals.
Content:
Day 1
Theoretical Section
- Up to date pancreatic imaging
- Pancreatic NETs
- Cystic pancreatic lesion
- Indication for IPMN
- operations
Day 2
Practical Section
- Pylorus-preserving pancreas head resection
- Laparoscopic spleen-preserving left-sided pancreatic resection
Registration Conditions:
Registration is compulsory. Cancellations recieved up to two weeks prior to the event date will be charged with a processing fee of 25,- Euros. After this date or in case of non-attendance, we will calculate the entire conference fee. Registration as well as cancellation must be in writing.
